  • Add salt to a bowl with warm water to receive an unsaturated solution – the salt must dissolve completely. At the bottom put an aluminum foil. First wash silver goods with water with detergent to remove grease. Put silver goods in the bowl with solution – make sure that they are entirely dipped. A surface that has contact with air will not be cleaned. Leave silver goods in this solution for a couple of hours. After this time it should be cleaned from chemical contamination and a foil should have a dark coating
